Privacy Policy

Corehaven DE4 ("we", "us", "our") is a business registered in the Republic of Ghana, operating in web development services. We sell digital products through corehvn.com (the "Website"). This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, how we use it, who we share it with and the rights you have. We process personal data in accordance with the Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843) of Ghana and other applicable laws.

1. Who is responsible for your data

2. What we collect

  • Order information: your name, email address, phone number (optional), products purchased, order amounts, currency and order reference.
  • Payment information: details of how and when you paid (for example mobile money or bank transfer reference, or confirmation from a payment provider). We do not store full card numbers or mobile money PINs.
  • Download information: download links issued, download dates and times, and IP addresses used, to deliver products and prevent abuse.
  • Messages: information you send through our contact or enquiry forms, or by email or WhatsApp.
  • Newsletter: your email address if you subscribe.
  • Technical data: IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited and referring site, collected through server logs and, where enabled, privacy-friendly analytics.
  • Preferences: your selected display currency (GHS or USD) and cart contents, stored in your browser.

We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. Where a product is intended for children, it should be purchased by a parent, guardian or teacher.

3. How we use your data

  • To process orders, take payment and deliver your digital products (performance of a contract).
  • To send order confirmations, receipts, download links and product update notices (performance of a contract).
  • To respond to enquiries and provide customer support (legitimate interests / contract).
  • To send marketing emails, only where you have subscribed; you can unsubscribe at any time (consent).
  • To prevent fraud, abuse of download links and unauthorised sharing of files (legitimate interests).
  • To keep business and tax records as required by Ghanaian law (legal obligation).
  • To understand how the Website is used and improve it (legitimate interests).

4. Who we share data with

We share personal data only with service providers who help us run the business, under appropriate confidentiality and data protection obligations:

  • Payment providers and banks — processing and confirming payments.
  • Email delivery provider — sending order and download emails.
  • Hosting and infrastructure providers — hosting the Website and database, and providing network security services (including Cloudflare).
  • Professional advisers and authorities — where required by law, court order or to protect our legal rights.

We do not sell your personal data.

5. International transfers

Some of our service providers may process data outside Ghana. Where this happens, we take reasonable steps to ensure your data receives an adequate level of protection.

6. How long we keep data

  • Order and payment records: for as long as required for tax and accounting purposes (generally at least six years).
  • Download logs: up to 24 months.
  • Support messages: up to 24 months after the conversation ends.
  • Newsletter data: until you unsubscribe.

We use essential cookies and browser storage to keep your cart, remember your currency preference and keep the Website secure. If we use analytics, we prefer privacy-friendly tools and will ask for consent where required. You can clear cookies and browser storage at any time in your browser settings.

We use HTTPS encryption, access controls, secure payment processing and signed, time-limited download links. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your data and will notify affected individuals and authorities of a breach where the law requires.

Under the Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843), you may:

  • ask whether we hold personal data about you and request a copy;
  • ask us to correct inaccurate data;
  • ask us to delete data we no longer need;
  • object to processing for direct marketing at any time;
  • withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
