Elementor kit import

Import the kit, check required plugins and set global styles.

Requirements

  • WordPress with the Elementor plugin installed and activated.
  • Each kit's product page and README state whether any page needs Elementor Pro. Most pages work with the free version.
  • The kit's README lists any other required plugins.

Import the kit

  1. In WordPress, go to Elementor → Tools → Import/Export Kit (the menu name can vary between Elementor versions).
  2. Choose Import, then upload the kit ZIP from your download.
  3. Select the content you want to import (pages, global styles, header and footer templates).
  4. Install any plugins Elementor asks for, then finish the import.

After importing

  • Set your client's colours and fonts in Site Settings → Global Colors / Global Fonts.
  • Assign the imported header and footer templates if your setup needs it.
  • Replace placeholder images and text page by page.
  • Set a static front page in Settings → Reading if the home page is not showing.

Import on a fresh or staging site first if you are working on a live client site.
